The US Soccer Roster for the World Cup has been announced on ESPN. Charlie Davies is unfortunately not on the US Soccer roster due to his present injury, but he was still seriously considered for it according to Coach Bob Bradley who made the statement “He remained part of the conversation right up until yesterday. We just felt right now, for Charlie, it is in his best interest to continue his rehab and continue to get back to where he was last year.â€
Coach Bradley was very excited to finally have his US Soccer World Cup team decided so that the team can now get together and start preparing for the World Cup’s first round. The US Soccer team will be fortunate enough to be opening up the World Cup tournament on June 12 in Rustenberg, England.
At this time, Coach Bradley has decided that his number 1 goal keeper will be Tim Howard and he will be backed up Marcus Hahnemann and also Brad Guzan. The US Soccer Roster is below, but keep in mind the final World Cup team is expected to be cut to 23 in June.
