| This story just never stops, and finally one is forced to conclude that the Roman Catholic Hierarchy (as distinct from the living community of believers) is simply degenerate and corrupt. So many thousands upon thousands of children have been molested worldwide by this organization's priesthood that I, for one, can no longer keep track of an accurate number, except that it is very large, and the damage very great. I don't understand how a Catholic family can be comfortable leaving their child with a priest and, I guess, because Catholic families are leaving the church in droves, the families can't either. www.schwartzreport.net |

On Monday, the Los Angeles Times’ Victoria Kim, Ashley Powers and Harriet Ryan published newly released internal documents revealing how Archbishop Roger M. Mahony and his adviser Msgr. Thomas J. Curry conspired together in 1986 and 1987 to 'shield abusers from police.†The memos, which the L.A. Times notes 'the Archdiocese fought for years to keep secret,†show, in sickening detail, how the local church authorities endeavored to make sure to attract as little legal and public attention for three men they knew to be abusers. That big problem started basically when they said that those Nuns couldn’t continue to be prostitutes for the priests.
Men actually need to ejaculate either by them self which the Bible says that they shouldn’t do, or someone else or they will have prostate or mental health problems, therefore that problem will just continue.
Tomgram: Rebecca Solnit, The Longest War
"We have far more than 87,000 rapes in this country every year, but each of them is invariably portrayed as an isolated incident. We have dots so close they’re splatters melting into a stain, but hardly anyone connects them, or names that stain. In India they did. They said that this is a civil rights issue, it’s a human rights issue, it’s everyone’s problem, it’s not isolated, and it’s never going to be acceptable again. It has to change. It’s your job to change it, and mine, and ours."
