America Is Far From #1

The wealth of America, its once vaunted technological and educational superiority, its vibrant middle class, and its system of justice have been sacrificed so that a small group of Uber rich, and the corporations they control, can become wealthy beyond measure. The effects of this rape can be seen everywhere. From the potholes in our roads, to our appallingly poor mobile communications, our educational system, and our healthcare.

The Theocratic Right which constitutes the peasant work force serving the interests of the Uber rich is manipulated through their value passions, which are meaningless to their masters. Can you imagine a billionaire's daughter who could not get an abortion if she wanted one, whatever the law said?

These workers in the service of the one per cent constitute approximately one third of the electorate.

The math is simple. Nothing is going to change until a sufficiency of American citizens get up from their couches and vote as social progressives. Fifty seven per cent of the people who could vote, did vote in the last election. Bravo to all of us. But 43 per cent of those who could vote, did not vote, or were suppressed. Our task must be to get that 43 per cent to vote, and to make it possible for them to do so. Profiles show they favor a socially progressive life-affirming view.

It has become clear which societies work, and have happy fulfiilled people. And which don't. The failure to chose life is existential -- a statement of beingness.
